This educational activity will look at recent advances in technology and how they have shaped the knowledge and skills of todays practicing Optometrists. It will involve discussion of such topics as presbyopic contact lenses managing posterior segment disease choosing new medications ocular surface disease glaucoma and more. It is imperative that practitioners be aware of current products and techniques so that they can make sense of the numerous tools available with which to treat the conditions and diseases they face daily. This program will examine new and existing information for Optometrists to adapt and incorporate into practice to enhance their clinical outcomes.
