Description:
In this symposium, an optometrist will present several patients with optic nerve damage and/or visual field loss to a glaucoma specialist and neuro-ophthalmologist for their respective opinions on diagnosis, work-up and management. Key diagnostic pearls that help distinguish neurologic disease from glaucoma will be covered. Indications for a neurological work-up and what tests should be performed when evaluating patients with optic atrophy will be discussed.
