- This course will describe the reasons for fitting myopic children with contact lenses, describe ways to interest children and parents in contact lens wear, provide tips for making it easier for children, provide evidence of the benefits of contact lens wear for children, and discuss risks associated with contact lens wear. At the end of the class, eye doctors should be comfortable talking to parents about contact lenses for their children.
