- This course will be a brief overview of the current management paradigm for exudative wet age-related macular degeneration and discuss the potential risks and limitation of serial intravitreal anti-VEGF injection therapies. The main focus of the lecture is to discuss 2 potential new strategies in the management of wet AMD which may reduce the treatment burden and risks such as endophthalmitis that are associated with current serial intravitreal injection therapy.
