- Description A one hour lecture that aims to provide a comprehensive list of drugs whose ocular side effects call for patient education, specialty testing andor interdisciplinary management on behalf of the optometrist. We will begin by listing the most common medical conditions whose medical treatments have well known ocular side effects. This clinically based approach has the objective of providing comprehensive general information about medications ocular side effects as well as highlight the specific updated guidelines for screening for Plaquenil retinal toxicity.
