- Description:
- The use of laser energy to treat various anterior segment conditions, including posterior capsular opacification PCO, angle closure glaucoma, and open angle glaucoma, is now able to be performed by optometrists in multiple states. As more and more states seek legislative approval, optometrists will need to become even more familiar with anterior segment laser procedures. This workshop will review and update these ophthalmic laser procedures through the use of hands-on training with model eyes for the YAG capsulotomy and SLT procedure.
