- Description:
- Ocular coherence tomography angiography OCTA is now available to provide a new way to visualize blood flow in the retina. It is not meant to replace fluorescein angiography FA but is an alternate, less invasive method that clinicians can use. This can improve management of conditions such as diabetic retinopathy, vascular and artery occlusions, and macular degeneration. This lecture will discuss several cases of vascular disease and will review situations in which aberrant blood flow is present in the retina.
