- This course will review the benefits of corneal crosslinking treatment for patients with progressive keratoconus and corneal ectasia. Doctors will receive a thorough review of crosslinking research, effectiveness and outcomes. This course will also discuss corneal transplants such as PKP and DALK for patients that arent candidates for crosslinking, and help referring doctors identify potential patients. This course will review the treatment process, recovery, and follow-up care so optometrists and ophthalmologists can successfully manage mutual patients undergoing corneal crosslinking treatment.
