- The course will review the 99000 and 92000 codes from an optometric-based practice perspective and will include examples and a template of how to efficiently and accurately choose codes based on the content of the medical record. Review of common modifiers, special clinical situations and billing using time will be reviewed as well. The goal of accurately reflecting in the record what was medically necessary to manage each individual patient will be emphasized.
