- This course details how topical ophthalmic eye drops can be effectively used to control the signs and symptoms of ocular surface dryness. Xiidra lifitegrast 5, Restasis cyclosporine 0.05, and topical steroids will be compared and contrasted in onset mechanism of action, patient selection, and potential adverse effects. Alternatives to topical eye drops will also be discussed.
