- This 2 hour program will provide Optometrists with tools to ensure your Practice is in compliance with North Carolina OSHA regulations in 2018. On January 1, 2015, for the first time in 15 years, North Carolina optometry offices were once again covered by the OSHA Recordkeeping Standard which requires all covered employers to report to OSHA serious injuries including even one person being admitted for treatment to a hospital for a work related injury. This session will provide comprehensive information addressing the hazards most likely encountered in the optometry office and the information which is mandated under the OSH Act.
