Description:
Congenital ocular conditions that affect the cornea, iris, and pupil can result in uncomfortable glare, photophobia, and reduced acuity. Resulting in having a significant impact on the patient’s self- confidence and quality of life. Contact lenses can be used to improve many of the uncomfortable visual symptoms that these patients are dealing with, and also improve the appearance of the eye in cases of scarring or other irregularities. It will review how the lenses can drastically improve the psychological well-being as well as the overall quality of life of both adults and children alike.
