- YAG lasers are utilized for numerous procedures with the most common being a YAG laser capsulotomy. This interactive lecture featuring a dozen videos of optometry performed YAG capsulotomies will update all aspects of care of YAG caps including indications and procedural techniques. Another YAG procedure, YAG vitreolysis, has gained attention over the past 5-10 years as a treatment option for floaters other than observation or vitrectomy. This lecture will update and show multiple videos of YAG laser vitreolysis. A special emphasis will be placed on patient selection for vitreolysis.
