This course explores the clinical application of Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) therapy for treating Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD) and Dry Eye Disease (DED), emphasizing the pathophysiology, diagnosis, and therapeutic outcomes. Optometrists will review the mechanism of action of IPL, the clinical characteristics of inflammatory and evaporative dry eye syndromes, and step-by-step treatment planning.
