The purpose of the SCOPA Annual Meeting is to provide licensed doctors of optometry with quality continuing education pertaining to their scope and mode of practice to fulfill optometric relicensure requirements. Each educational lecture session is monitored according to the SC State Board of Examiners in Optometry. The continuing education offered has been reviewed by the SC Board of Optometry and approved as meeting the relicensure requirements for doctors of optometry as stated within the South Carolina state law.
