Our keynote speakers for the weekend are Drs. David Kading Jeffrey Sonsino and Diana Shechtman. Dr. Kading practices in Seattle WA. He is a nationally recognized speaker having performed hundreds of lectures both nationally and internationally. Dr. Kading publishes extensively on topics including dry eye disease contact lenses and practice management and is a key opinion leader for several eye care manufacturers. Dr. Sonsino practices in Nashville TN. He is a diplomate of the Cornea and Contact Lens Section of the AAO and is the chairman of the Contact Lens and Cornea Section of the AOA. He lectures and publishes extensively on cornea and contact lenses. Dr. Shechtman is a Full Professor at Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry NSUCO where she serves as the Coordinator of the Diabetes and Macula Service and the Director of Interdisciplinary Education. She is a nationally recognized speaker with numerous publications on retinal disease. Dr. Mickles is an Associate Professor at NSUCO where she serves as the Coordinator of the Dry Eye Service and the Instructor of Record of the Advanced Contact Lens Course. She is a rising star who lectures and publishes on variety of topics with special interest in contact lenses and dry eye disease.
